Implant Revision Case 595

This patient contacted my office in Toledo to discuss her options for Implant Revision. She had saline breast implants placed years ago and was considering either removing them completely or replacing them with newer gel implants. After a detailed consultation, she decided her goals would best be met with smaller, softer gel implants and a breast lift to enhance her overall shape.

The procedure involved removing her original saline implants and performing a capsulectomy to address the scar tissue around them. I then performed a bilateral mastopexy, or breast lift, and placed 190cc gel implants. The goal was to provide a natural, refreshed appearance and address any changes that had occurred since her initial augmentation.

After surgery, she reported feeling satisfied with both her appearance and comfort. The lift restored a more youthful contour, and the replacement with gel implants gave her the look and feel she wanted. Her recovery proceeded without complication, and she returned to daily activities as advised.
