Implant Revision Case 472
Before & After
Case Details
After 14 years with her initial breast implants, the 53-year-old patient came in with dissatisfaction about her current situation. Her primary complaint was that her breasts appeared “too droopy,” moving uncomfortably particularly when she laid down or raised her arms, creating a "double bubble" effect. She understood that the problem owed itself to the overly large implants (550cc) from her previous surgery, which led to the malpositioning of the implants. The option of Implant Revision in Toledo, through my services, seemed most appropriate. I decided to go through with a secondary breast augmentation using soft touch gel implants (360cc), a standard mastopexy, and GalaFlex for added support to her breast fold, hoping to solve her existing problems.
The patient's experience and outcome were paramount. My goal with every patient is to provide personalized care plans which will yield natural-looking results. Following the procedure, the Implant Revision in Toledo resulted in a significant improvement in her discomfort and restored confidence, rectifying the issues caused by her previous implants. As she recovered, the issue of droopy breasts was tackled effectively; they no longer moved too far to the side when she laid down, and the "double bubble" effect was resolved when she raised her arms.
Having earned my medical degree from Indiana University with residency in general and plastic surgeries at Indiana University School of Medicine, and being board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, I actively involve myself in ongoing education and development, always focused on providing comprehensive cosmetic service menus.
