Implant Revision Case 546

A 52-year-old woman, unsatisfied with her current state, approached me regarding a troublesome implant on her right side. Not being able to recall the particulars of her previous surgery, she believed she had textured saline implants. However, her wishes were clear - she desired to relinquish her implants and return to her natural silhouette.

As we navigated her implant revision in Toledo, my goal was to respect her wishes while ensuring her safety and well-being. Together, we decided upon a bilateral implant removal featuring a full capsulectomy - a procedure that removes the capsule tissue that forms around the implant. This technique was optimal, given her intimate preference to embrace her natural form once more.

The result was a triumph. My patient was satisfied and relieved, expressing deep appreciation for her restored natural form. As a board-certified plastic surgeon since 1992, I've had the privilege to guide people through transformative choices. It's always rewarding to encounter triumph, such as this one, where someone's self-perception upgrades alongside her actual transformation.

Studying at Indiana University, completing both my general surgery and plastic surgery residencies, I've continued to focus on offering a comprehensive array of cosmetic services - always emphasizing personalized care plans that deliver natural-looking results.
