This 55-year-old woman came to see me after experiencing complications with her previous breast augmentation. She expressed uncertainty about her options, wanting to discuss whether to fully remove her implants, replace them, or seek both a replacement and a lift. During our consultation, we reviewed her history, current concerns, and the outcome she hoped for.

Her case represented one of the more complex cases in Toledo due to the initial use of textured 410cc implants and the presence of troublesome scar tissue. To provide relief and restore her comfort, I performed a bilateral capsulectomy to remove both the encapsulating tissue and the original implants. We then proceeded with a secondary augmentation using Soft Touch 255cc gel implants paired with bilateral mastopexy, lifting and reshaping her breasts.

Following surgery, the patient noticed a significant improvement in both breast shape and firmness. She experienced enhanced comfort and a renewed sense of confidence in her appearance. Recovery proceeded smoothly, with regular follow-ups to monitor healing and results.
