Complex Case 405
Before & After
Case Details
This 39 year old patient had a breast augmentation done elsewhere 14 years ago. At the time of her first breast surgery she had a periareolar mastopexy with a breast augmentation. After 2 children she sought help from Dr. Colville. She expressed that she had always felt that her breasts were too big after the initial surgery. She didn't like the shape of her breasts, the higher fullness of her left breast and she felt that her breasts had started to droop and she didn't like her areolar shape or position.
After complete exam, imaging and 3D imaging with the patient, her goals are as follows.
The patient stated that she would like less implant. She would like to correct her nipple position and areolar shape. She also explained that she felt her breasts sat too lateral especially when she was supine or on her back. Ultimately, her goal was to have smaller, tighter, perkier looking breasts.
Dr. Colville performed secondary breast augmentation using Soft Touch smooth round gel implants with a bilateral mastopexy and capsulectomy. Dr. Colville repaired her implant pockets using Galaflex Scaffold to help with her implant re-positioning.
The patients goals were met and her is very happy with her new breast look.
