When a 39-year-old female patient approached me about her dissatisfaction with the results of a breast augmentation procedure performed elsewhere 14 years prior, it was clear that her desire was genuine. After two children and a period of feeling uncomfortable with the size and shape of her breasts, she expressed her objective was to have smaller, tighter, and perkier looking breasts. This would involve correcting her nipple position, areolar shape, and the lateral position of her breasts, especially noticeable when lying on her back.

To meet the patient's objectives, I decided a secondary breast augmentation would be ideal. We used Soft Touch smooth round gel implants combined with a bilateral mastopexy and capsulectomy. This comprehensive approach was designed to deliver the desired aesthetic outcome in a coordinated, integrative manner. Furthermore, we used the Galaflex Scaffold technique to position the implants correctly, repairing the pocket that held them.
