Approaching the complex case of a 27-year-old woman, I recognized the need for thoughtful correction to her previously undergone peri areolar breast augmentation done by another provider. Despite her young age and healthy lifestyle, she had been experiencing severe implant malpositioning, causing the implants to move extensively when laying down. The resulting implant positions were not only uncomfortable but also affected her overall body image and confidence.

Working on these complex cases in Toledo, personalized attention to the patient's unique situation was the primary goal. A masterful approach to her correction involved a bilateral saline breast implant removal coupled with a capsulorraphy, addressing the malpositioned implant issue. A secondary augmentation was then performed using higher quality Allergan Natrelle style SSF 345cc silicone gel implants, supported by a Galaflex mesh placement. This methodology not only provided the additional support needed for the new implants but also assisted in the reconstruction of the left inframammary fold. The patient experienced a successful recovery and was ecstatic with the greatly improved contour, comfort, and newfound confidence in her physical appearance.
