This 36 year old female presented to Dr. Colville after at least 3 previous breast augmentation procedures. Her original surgery was a peri areolar incision breast augmentation sub glandular. She had multiple revisions that did not resolve the malpositioning of the implants or the hardened feeling of the breasts. She also felt that her breast implants were too close together, too low and there was no upper fullness in her breast mound, she did not feel that they looked natural.
Dr. Colville discussed a secondary breast augmentation to remove the capsular contracture and to place the implants in a new pocket that would be submuscular, moving the implants farther apart. He also discussed recreating the breast fold using Strattice, this would also help decrease her chances of further capsular contracture.
The photos shown are now 2 years post op. She is happy, her breasts are soft, and her implants are mobile. Her implants are Allergan Natrelle Style SRF 345cc.
These photos were taken using our Vectra 3D Imaging System.
