Implant Revision Case 394
Before & After
Case Details
Coming in for an implant revision in Toledo, our patient, a spry 51-year-old woman, sought to address her naturally constricted and underdeveloped breasts that had been causing her discomfort. Being informed about the complicated nature of her case due to her small, narrow breasts and her previous surgical history, she was determined to entrust her needs to us with the primary objective to correct her capsular contracture.
With her lifestyle in mind, the decision was made to utilize the Allergan Soft Touch 405cc moderate profile implants to accomplish her vision. The procedure involved performing a secondary breast augmentation, placing the implants in a new pocket under the musculature. To further stabilize her implant position and inframammary fold, I utilized Galaflex scaffold technology to achieve the desired results. Her final outcome was not only visually satisfying, but also eased her discomfort, putting a confident spring back into her step.
Undergoing an implant revision in Toledo, Ohio, denotes not only complexity but also speaks to the patient and the surgeon’s shared commitment for comfort and satisfaction. Being board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery since 1992, I have specially honed my skills in breast augmentation, breast lift, and breast reductions surgeries, always aiming for natural-looking results. As a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Toledo Medical Center, my ultimate goal is to provide comprehensive, individualized care plans to serve the women in the community. For this patient, helping her with her implant revision was a rewarding experience, not just in accomplishing a successful procedure, but in seeing it boost her confidence and ease of life.
