Complex Case 482
Before & After
Case Details
While working on complex cases in Toledo, I often meet patients with difficult histories and high hopes for better outcomes. One particular patient, a 59-year-old woman, came to me after experiencing two prior breast augmentations by another surgeon. She had developed an extreme capsular contracture to her right breast, which was causing her much discomfort and distress.
To alleviate her issue and give her the natural, balanced look she desired, I utilized an innovative surgical technique. I performed bilateral capsulectomies with implant removal — a meticulous procedure that, while intricate, emphasizes patient comfort and targeted results. Post-surgery, the patient was thrilled with her results, marking another successful case among the complex cases in Toledo that I've had the privilege to treat.
So who am I, you might ask? I earned my medical degree from Indiana University and completed both general surgery and plastic surgery residencies at Indiana University School of Medicine. I have been board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery since 1992. Today, I serve as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Toledo Medical Center, where I continue to focus on cases requiring breast augmentation, breast lift, and breast reduction surgeries. Yet, regardless of each case's complexity, my patients' well-being always takes priority in my work. I'm also proud to have pioneered the use of "gummy bear" breast implants in our region, an advancement that underscores my commitment to ongoing education and the provision of the highest quality care. My practice is located at 2865 N Reynolds Rd #250, Toledo, Ohio 43615 US.
