Approaching these complex cases in Toledo, the importance of patient-centric care becomes paramount – each individual has a unique history and body, and it’s my responsibility to guide them towards their desired outcome. In this situation, we have a 59-year-old patient with a long journey which included multiple breast reduction surgeries followed by a breast augmentation. Despite this, she wasn't content with the results, complaining of a bottomed-out appearance and a lack of fullness in the upper and central portions of her breasts.

Given the complexity of the case, I revised her breast augmentation using Galaflex. This technique was chosen as it not only supports the lower portions of the breast but also tightens the appearance of her breast folds. The aim here was to elevate her breasts and enhance their aesthetic appeal, while also addressing her personal concerns. Post-operation, the patient expressed satisfaction with the outcome, providing critical affirmation towards the decision to pursue this procedure, and a shared joy in achieving her objectives.

With a clinical background detailed with broad-based experience from the completion of general and plastic surgery residencies at Indiana University School of Medicine, I aim to bring extensive knowledge to every case. I am a member of The Aesthetic Society and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and have been board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery since 1992. Plus, I serve as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Toledo Medical Center.
