Non-surgical facial treatments are popular because they offer excellent results without the recovery period associated with most cosmetic surgical procedures. In the case of injectable treatments or skin resurfacing, a board-certified plastic surgeon is the best choice for safety and reliable results. Dr. Colville dedicates much of his practice to providing the most effective injectable treatments and has served as a trainer for procedures such as BOTOX and JUVÉDERM® injections. When combined, these treatments can significantly help improve signs of facial aging.
BOTOX, Dysport® and XEOMIN® all work by temporarily relaxing muscles that are associated with wrinkles. When you squint or frown, the muscles between your brows contract, causing the skin to furrow and fold. Worry lines and other forehead wrinkles appear smoother when a skilled provider injects these treatments into specific areas.

Injectable fillers work by restoring volume to areas of the face and lips where aging saps the youthful, smooth appearance of your skin. Many of these gel fillers use hyaluronic acid (HA), a natural complex sugar found in all living cells. HA retains water like a sponge, absorbing more than 1,000 times its weight. This helps to attract and maintain water, hydrating your skin and increasing its volume and density. Among the HA fillers offered by Dr. Colville are BELOTERO BALANCE®, JUVÉDERM, Restylane®, and Perlane®.
Dr. Colville is also one of the first plastic surgeons to offer JUVÉDERM VOLUMA™ XC, specifically approved to help lift and contour the cheek area. JUVÉDERM VOLUMA XC was specifically developed to restore lost facial volume in the cheeks, cheekbones and chin. While wrinkle fillers like JUVÉDERM Ultra offer excellent results when applied to fine lines and wrinkles, JUVÉDERM VOLUMA XC is better suited to larger-scale facial volumizing. It was developed to be smoother than other hyaluronic acid facial volumizers.
Dr. Colville also offers volumizing fillers including RADIESSE®, which is an excellent choice for filling in the cheeks and beneath the eyes, and Sculptra® Aesthetic, often used to restore volume the cheek area.

Using hyaluronic acid, the same active ingredient present in many dermal fillers, JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA XC has a unique formulation designed to add soft volume and shape to lips while smoothing away fine lip lines. Whether you have naturally thin lips or your lips have lost definition with age, VOLBELLA can create a fuller, hydrated look without surgery or scars.
KYBELLA is the first and only non-surgical treatment approved by the FDA to reduce submental fat, the localized fat under the chin responsible for the appearance of a double chin. Nicknamed the "double chin injection," KYBELLA treatments involve several shots per treatment session. A non-surgical alternative to neck liposuction, KYBELLA works by using deoxycholic acid, a chemical naturally produced by the body to assist in processing dietary fat. When it's injected, KYBELLA destroys fat cells under the chin. CoolSculpting® with the CoolMini™ applicator is another non-surgical option for treating a double chin.
Most patients get the desired results after 2 to 4 treatments, but up to 6 treatment sessions are possible. Because the fat cells are destroyed, the treatment is considered permanent, and additional injections aren't required. The recovery period is brief, with swelling, bruising, and redness diminishing within a couple of days of the procedure.
Ultherapy counteracts the effects of gravity and aging by using ultrasound energy to stimulate the production of collagen. It is the only non-invasive treatment cleared by the FDA to lift and tighten skin on the face, neck, and chest.
A chemical peel is a skin resurfacing procedure used to treat wrinkles and scars by removing the top layers of skin using a chemical solution. The depth and duration of the peel can be adjusted to achieve the results desired. Light, medium, and deep peels are used for various skin conditions. The recovery times also vary, depending on the peel's intensity.
Dr. Colville uses a CO2 laser (carbon dioxide) to target wrinkles, blotchiness, and age spots. Much like a chemical peel, laser resurfacing vaporizes the outer layers of skin, generating collagen growth and new, smoother and healthier skin.
Dr. Colville can give you plump, youthful-looking lips with dermal fillers or fat injections. Fat transfer uses liposuction to remove the fatty tissue from your abdomen, thighs, or buttocks. The fat is then processed and re-injected into your lips for a natural volume enhancement.
Tiny needles are used to rapidly puncture the skin and embed an organic pigment to add color permanently where desired. The procedure is often used to highlight and define eyes, resembling eyeliner, and enhance eyebrows and lips.
Cellulite is a common concern for many women. There have been few effective treatment options in the past, but Cellfina offers a solution because it takes a different approach that targets cellulite's structures. Cellfina is the only FDA-cleared minimally invasive treatment for cellulite that's clinically proven to improve the appearance of cellulite for at least a year. Dr. Colville performs Cellfina treatments in his office. The automated Cellfina system works by releasing the connective bands that thread through fatty tissue and attach to the skin. The bands pull the skin down, creating the dimpled look associated with cellulite. This is an in-office procedure.
